Arrow Shed Review: An Honest Take On Arrow Sheds

I stay in New York and wanted a storage shed for household items. So, my basic choice was whether to build the shed myself, utilizing two x Fours and siding, or purchase a arrow shed kit and assemble it myself. The most significant issue is when you are attempting to screw through 2 pieces of the sheet metal with the tiny screws. It can become a tedious task for them to go in completely.

It was the roofing that virtually triggered me to take a sledge hammer to the shed:-). I needed to get my wife (of all people:) to assist me while holding them in place while I wrestled with mating surfaces up for screwing. (It’s recommended for two people, and I was trying to assemble by my lonesome- what..?  i am a typical male right!!.

I wound up drilling the screws into the trusses regardless of where the holes were. It turned out better anyhow. My home is on 3 acres so my next-door neighbors’ houses are not very close. Good thing. I dropped so many F-bombs and other profane epithets that a passerby would have thought a Sopranos episode was playing. It took me six-hour to put the damn thing together and afterwards thirty minutes for the sliding doors.

Was it worth it? Well, it looks great and the arrow metal shed has a wood-like finish for the walls rather than a ratty, regular sheet metal finish. I am glad that I decided not to build the shed myself from scratch. That task would have been a week long project and cost more money and time that I had available.
